Special Education Advocacy That Actually Moves Things Forward
If your child is being denied services, placed in the wrong setting, or you feel like no one is listening—you’re not alone.
I work directly with families to navigate IEPs, challenge inappropriate decisions, and make sure schools are held accountable to what your child is legally entitled to. This includes reviewing records, preparing for meetings, and standing with you during conversations that matter.
Independent Facilitation for the Self-Determination Program (SDP)
The Self-Determination Program gives families more control—but navigating it can be confusing, delayed, and overwhelming without the right support.
I guide families through every step of the process, including Person-Centered Planning (PCP), spending plans, and working with Regional Centers—so your child’s plan is not only approved, but actually reflects their real needs.

Built From Lived Experience
As a parent of two autistic children, I know firsthand how overwhelming it can be to fight for the support your child needs while trying to navigate systems that often feel confusing, delayed, and dismissive. I started Facilitation With Heart because I believe no parent should have to go through that alone.
I understand this work from both sides—as a parent and as an advocate. I know what it feels like to sit in meetings, sort through records, push for answers, and carry the weight of making sure your child is not overlooked.
I treat every child and family I work with with the same care, urgency, and dedication I would want for my own. This work is deeply personal to me, and everything I do is grounded in compassion, persistence, and heart.
